Maths- fraction

 Fractions are a whole cut into equal pieces.

A half is a whole cut into two equal pieces.

Here are some examples of a quarter and a half looks like.

    Hi Joshua my name is Zane and I am a year 7 at Paihia School. I really liked your blog post about fractions because it helped me learn that fractions are a whole cut into equal parts. I thought that the example you showed that fractions can be hard. It also reminded me of when I also learnt fractions. Do you feel confident doing fractions?
