We were introduced to Marc that came from duffy.
Today we had Marc from Duffy come and talk to us about the importance of reading and how reading can make a big impact on your life. Although Marc had some challenges in his life he used reading as a tool to get through the hard times. Marc believes that there is only CANs and not CAN’Ts.

Summary of Te Tiriti O Waitangi
The Treaty of Waitangi was used to bring peace to New Zealand. Our task was to read a article which was about The Treaty of Waitangi. When we were finished reading we had to use this summarizing template to help us create a paragraph telling us some of the story of the treaty. This task was really fun because I got learn new things about the treaty of waitangi.

Rugby Events
LI: To apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy to learn about the rugby world cup.
For this activity we had to find three historical events about the Rugby World Cup. I picked 1987 which was when the first rugby world cup was held because New Zealand won the first rugby world cup. For my second event I picked 2011 games which was when New Zealand won their second time at Eden Park. The last event I picked was in 2015 where New Zealand won for the third time. This record topped all the teams. We had to add images for each event to give more information.
